DRAFT
Draft order will be randomly determined. It will be a serpentine draft,
Draft order is 1-10 in odd numbered rounds, and 10-1 in even numbered rounds.
There will be 15 rounds. The draft will occur
via Yahoo! live draft on a date to be generally agreed upon by the group.
ROSTERS
A team can have up to 15 players on a roster. Positions will be QB, RB, WR, TE,
K, and Team Defense.
STARTING LINEUPS
Starters will be 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 2 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 Def. A player may be
moved from position to position, bench to position, or position to bench at any time
before that player takes the field.
WAIVERS
Unlimited player transactions are permitted. Free agents may be picked up immediately
at any time. Dropped players are on waivers for 1 full day (the day dropped, plus the
following day). Players on waivers may be claimed by multiple teams, with the player
awarded to the team with higher priority on the day the player would become a free agent.
Waiver position begins as reverse of draft order. A succesful waiver pickup moves that
team to the bottom of the waiver priority list. Note that Yahoo! may require transactions
be completed by a certain point to be valid for a given week's games.
TRADES
Players may be traded. Any two teams may confer and agree to any trade.
The trade will be subject to Yahoo! trade review by the other teams. Details can
be found on the Yahoo! help files. The trade deadline is defined in the league
settings.
PLAYOFFS
The top 4 teams will play in the championship bracket, while the next 4 will play
in the consolation bracket. Placement is determined first by overall record, and
second by total points scored. These are the only tiebreakers. The winner of the
matchups between teams 1 and 4, and 2 and 3, will meet in week 16 for le Bol de
Superiorite. The winner of the matchups between teams 5 and 8, and 6 and 7, will meet
in week 16 for the consolation championship, and be declared the Lucky Loser.
LEAGUE FEES
Each team will pay $25 to the commissioner prior to the first game. This $250
total will be returned as follows:
